Oriental Night 12 Oct 2010 and Cripps Hall Formal 14 Oct 2010

You might want to know what I do normally. Well this might address that.

Firstly, I just stay in my room. LOL. I dun much do a lot of things.

BUT if i do hang out, I hang out with my cripps hall block friends. and do these things.

There was an Oriental Night on 12 Oct, which is aimed at the Asian population at Notts Uni. Since there is a chinese guy in our block who likes to party, he invited us all to go and hang that night. So this is what happened.

We took a taxi out to Coco Tang, the club where the night was being held. This club has really good cocktails but drinks are usually quite expensive here compared to other clubs.

In notts, the drinks are around 1.5 ~2.5 for a pint of tap beer, 2.0~3 for a bottled beer, 2.2~ for a glass of wine. A shot's about 1.5~2.5. So drinks are pretty cheap here. Coco tang's cocktail was about 5.00.

The music was a bit shoddy but we had fun dancing away.

Cripps Hall Formal 14 October 2010

The hall puts on formals about 4 times a year which is a refreshing change because the food in the hall sucks.

Look at the boys all dressed up! Tom, Josh, Chris, Will and Chris. There are two wills and two chrises in Block B.

Waiting to go inside the hall. we were allowed a bottle of wine per person to bring in.

Entree. Fruit...mmm. was not impressed.

Main is being served. Steak and other. The yellow thing is potato with cheese. YUMMMY.

Look at my maiiin. The steak was surprisingly dry. :( Others seemed to enjoy theirs though.
